You noticehow frequently it affects the skin and the tissues near the skin, and it also affects the envelopes orcoverings of organs; for example, the pericardium. It establishes serous inflammations with effusion.Apis produces an inflammation of the membranes of the brain. In the serous sac which encloses theheart, pericardium, and also in the peritoneum it produces the same kind of inflammation.
