6. WIRING DESIGN1. General(1) Perform wiring of the power supply in conformance with the regulations of the local electric company.(2) For the control wires connecting indoor units, and between indoor and outdoor units, use of double-core shieldwires is recommended to prevent noise trouble.(3) Be sure to set the earth leakage breaker and the switches to the power supply section of the indoor unit.(4) Supply power to each outdoor unit and provide an earth leakage breaker or hand switch for each outdoor unit.(5) Never connect the 220–240V power to the terminal block (U1, U2, U3, U4, U5, U6) for control cables.(Trouble is caused.)(6) Store wiring system for control and refrigerant piping system in the same line.(7) Arrange the cables so that the electric wires do not come to contact with high-temperature part of the pipe ;otherwise coating melts and an accident may be caused.(8) Do not turn on power of the indoor unit until vacuuming of the refrigerant pipe will finish.2. For outdoor unit power supply• Select the power supply cabling and fuse of each outdoor unit from the following specifications:Cable 5-core, in conformance with Design 60245 IEC 663.
