USER MANUAL<strong>BEAT</strong>-<strong>HF</strong>3.4 ELECTROFUSION PROCESS3.4.1 Fitting connection:Connect the unit cable connectors in the fitting terminals to be jointed. The contactsurfaces of both the fitting’s terminals and the cable connectors must always be clean.NOTE !We advise you to always use adapters, eventhough the connection to the fitting may bemade directly. Doing so, the cable terminals areprotected, do not wear out, burn, etc.It is recommend to refrain from electrofusion if the exterior temperatureis below -<strong>10</strong>°C or above +45°C.3.4.2 Detection of possible initial errors:Before the screen asking for the electrofusion data appears, the unit might detect thefollowing incidents: Message of the state of the internal memory:If there are 50 or less entries left before the memory is full, the following message willappear:dd/mm/yyhh:mmRemaining fusions xxWhere xx corresponds to 50 fusion entries.ConfirmPress the key to go to the next screen.
