3.2.1.8 Flight:a) Aircraft Emergency Procedures to include:i. Low Vis avoidance and recovery from Inadvertent IMC: including recovery fromunusual attitude and techniques.ii. Role and Environment Specific e.g. brownout and whiteoutb) Standard Operating Procedures.c) Role Specific i.e. vertical reference/long-line.d) Confined/Restricted Area Operations.e) Environment Specific where applicable i.e. high altitude, jungle, mountain, winteroperations3.2.2 Mechanics/Aircraft maintenance engineers3.2.2.1 At minimal engineers will attend annual recurrent training program as established by the<strong>Helicopter</strong> Provider. Recurrent program will included at a minimal the following:a) Aircraft Type.b) Regulations and Change in Regulations.c) Equipment fit, appropriate modifications and support equipment/lifting equipment.d) Human Factors. (Not to exceed 2 years)e) First aid and fire fighting. (Not to exceed 3 years).f) SMS training.g) Company Maintenance Manual3.2.3 Ground crew3.2.3.1 For the purpose <strong>of</strong> this section ground crew is defined as: staging personnel, load master,refueler, co-oridinator, drillers and their helpers, mechanic, Drill and recording staging and linehands (Powder man).3.2.3.2 This ground personnel may be provided by either the <strong>Helicopter</strong> Provider or the Contractor.Their training will need to comply with the minimum standards <strong>of</strong> both companies.OGC <strong>IBP</strong> | Revision Date: Sept 2009 DRAFT8
