2. Refueling should normally be done with the engines shut down. Observing a 30 minutes cooldown period before refueling is recommended.3. All personal not involved in the fuelling operation, including helicopter passengers, shouldremain clear <strong>of</strong> the fuelling location by at least 30 meters.4. Extinguishers located in enclosed compartments will be readily accessible, and their location willbe clearly marked in letters at least five (5) cm high.5. Extinguishers will be located upwind from the helicopter being fuelled.6. Smoking or any other source <strong>of</strong> ignition is prohibited within 30 meters <strong>of</strong> any area designated asa helicopter fuelling location.7. All personnel involved in fuelling operations will be given formal training by their respectivecompanies concerning the use <strong>of</strong> the extinguishing equipment and the type <strong>of</strong> fires that may beencountered.8.
