Bymanipulating parts in the Part Display, you can quickly rearrange andstructure your arrangement.About the Snap valueWhen you are moving, duplicating or changing the length of parts, theresult of your actions depends on the Snap value. The Snap pop-up menuThis value puts a restriction on the positions where you can performediting actions. If you for example set snap to “Bar” and move a partby dragging it, it will always start at an exact bar line when you releaseit. Likewise, if you cut the part in two, with the scissors, the split willthen always occur at an exact bar line.If Snap is set to Bar......parts can only be dragged to exact bar lines. If Snap is for example set to 1/4......parts can be put on any quarter note position. The Snap values are as follows:Snap ValueOffBarDescriptionAny position is allowed.Actions are restricted to exact bar lines.1/2 to 1/16 Actions are restricted to the selected note value.CUBASIS VSTArrangement Editing 9 – 105
