Exporting Files <strong>and</strong> SegmentsYou can export segments from the Audio Pool as individual files, foruse in other applications:1. Select the segment you wish to export.2. Select “Export Segment” from the Do pop-up menu.A dialog appears asking you to confirm the export <strong>of</strong> the segment as a file. Click “Yes”.3. Use the file dialog to find a location <strong>and</strong> name for the file.4. Click Save.Dragging from the Pool to the Arrange windowOne <strong>of</strong> the most important features in the Pool is the possibility todrag segments into the Arrange window. The example below describeshow to drag segments into an empty Arrange window, but <strong>of</strong>course, you can also add segments to an existing arrangement in thesame way. Proceed as follows:1. Open a song in which there are some audio segments.You could also start from a new song <strong>and</strong> add audio files to the Pool with the ImportAudio function or by using drag <strong>and</strong> drop.2. Select New Arrangement from the File menu so that you get a newempty arrangement.3. Make sure you have a number <strong>of</strong> audio tracks at the top <strong>of</strong> the arrangement.4. On the Transport Bar, set the correct tempo (the tempo in which theaudio files were recorded).5. Pull down the Panels menu <strong>and</strong> select Audio Pool.6.
