Importing Tracks from audio CDsYou can use Master Unit to directly import audio from any audio CD.The data is saved as a WAV-file, i.e. a digital copy <strong>of</strong> the importedtrack is saved onto your hard disk. There is no D/A conversion, thusno loss in quality. This method <strong>of</strong> directly reading the audio data fromCD is <strong>of</strong>ten called grabbing. Proceed as follows:1. Open the Import menu <strong>and</strong> select “Import Tracks from CD…”.A dialog opens.The Import audio tracks from CD dialog.2. Select the CD-ROM drive from which you wish to import the audiotracks by using the pop-up menu in the top left <strong>of</strong> the dialog.If you only have one CD-ROM drive installed in your computer system, it will be theonly option in this menu.3.
