In the <strong>VST</strong> Channel Mixer window, click on the FX button for the audiochannel to which you want to add the effect.The <strong>VST</strong> Channel Settings window opens, as described on the previous pages. Thesection between the channel fader <strong>and</strong> the EQ modules contains the effect sends.Bypass button (affects both sends)Pre-fader Send switchSend On/OffSend level7. Click on the On button for one or both effect sends <strong>and</strong> turn the Sendlevel knobs to moderate values.When you activate the On button, the channel’s FX button will light up in the <strong>VST</strong>Channel Mixer.8. If you want the signal to the effect to be independent <strong>of</strong> the channelfader setting, click on the PRE button for the send.With Pre-fader effect sends, the amount <strong>of</strong> effect for the channel is not affected by thevolume fader. With Post-fader effect sends (PRE button not activated), the amount <strong>of</strong>effect is proportional to the channel volume, <strong>and</strong> will change with the volume fadermovements. This is the most common setting.If you activate playback, you should hear the selected effect(s) beingadded to the sound.
