Compatibility with other manufacturers’ codecs.PHOENIX MOBILE is a portable encoder over IP, fully compatible with the EBU-TECH 3326technical specification formulated by the EBU N/ACIP working group, which was developed toguarantee compatibility between different manufacturers in applications for contributingprofessional quality audio over IP networks. Therefore, the PHOENIX MOBILE can beconnected with any codec made by another manufacturer with guaranteed connection over IP,provided that the other unit was developed according to N/ACIP (see technical specifications). With the rest of communication modules and interfaces, compatibility will depend essentially onthe coding algorithms implemented by the manufacturers of the other equipment, since thesignaling part is practically universal. This is why we recommend consulting, before operatingwith other manufacturers’ equipments, the technical characteristics of those equipments.AEQ PHOENIX MOBILE9
