His articles on foreign policy issues have appearedwidely in numerous publications, including the Washing<strong>to</strong>n Post, ForeignPolicy, the Nation, and Asia Times.Guy Olivier Faure is pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> sociology at the Sorbonne University,Paris V, France, where he teaches international negotiation, conflictresolution, and strategic thinking and action. He is a member <strong>of</strong> theedi<strong>to</strong>rial boards <strong>of</strong> the three major international journals dealing withnegotiation theory and practice (International Negotiation, NegotiationJournal, and Group Decision and Negotiation) and two major scientificbook series (International Negotiation and Negotiation).
