Ourfundamental principles are: Administer wage and salary programs in full accordance with federal and state laws. Establish pay scales that reflect current labor market rates of pay for similar jobs in similarbusinesses. Establish programs for review and evaluation of individual employee’s pay and performance. Relate pay adjustments to job performance and contribution to the Company and specifically tothe attainment of established individual employee objectives.OVERTIMEOvertime may sometimes be required to meet our schedules or goals. We will make a reasonable effortto provide as much notice as possible whenever overtime is required and employees are expected towork as requested. When possible, overtime will be distributed equitably, recognizing that someemployees may see overtime as desirable – others may not.Nonexempt EmployeesAll nonexempt employees who work more that forty (40) hours in one workweek will receive overtimepay at time and one-half their regular rate.Overtime will be computed on actual time worked. Only those hours that are actually worked arecounted to determine overtime pay. Paid holidays, for example, are not hours worked and are notcounted in making overtime calculations. No nonexempt employee may work overtime without the expressed prior approval of his or hersupervisor.Exempt EmployeesExempt employees are not generally eligible for any overtime compensation.Policy Manual-Confidential9/5/2013Return to Top 53
