Dorm LifeThe way St. Andrew's approacheslife in the dormitories is essentialto the School's educational mtsswn.St. Andrew's is increasingly uniqueamong boarding schools for our commitmentto an all-residential student bodyand faculty. Because all of our studentsboard and all of our teachers live oncampus, we live and work together in acommunity that is particularly warm,close and cohesive.When students arrive at St. Andrew's,they are greeted by a host of newemotional, academic, artistic and athleticchallenges. Our residential life program isstructured to support young students inthis process, providing them with facultyand student mentors to help them learnhabits that will help them succeed atSt. Andrew's. Our students find thatmuch of their education takes placethrough informal conversations theyhave with their peers and with faculty inthe dormitories, in the halls and on thefields.Although every member of thefaculty works one night a week in ourdormitories, corridor parents have overallresponsibility for the students wholive with them.
