We also strive tocreate in our students a deep and enduring sense of environmentalawareness and stewardship.St. Andrew's is located in the mid-Atlantic region, a twohourdrive from Washington, D.C., one hour south of Philadelphiaand fewer than three hours from New York City. Ourlocation puts us within easy reach of the educational and culturalresources of these cities.The countryside in which we are situated is typical of therural Atlantic Coastal Plain, with rich farmland rolling towardwaterways on all sides. Tidal streams meander west to theChesapeake Bay and east to the Delaware Bay. Silver Lake andAppoquinimink Creek border our campus to the north andeast, while two-mile-long Noxontown Pond defines our south-
