"Hey, what about me?" I shouted. I thenexplained my dilemma. At Measles (that wasthe name of the school, Measles) we used oldfashionedpens, and each desk had an inkwell todip the pen into. Why anyone would name aschool Measles is beyond my comprehension.They should have named the school"Rorschach," because every day I came homefrom school covered in inkblots.Playing The Fantasticks at a Catholicschool reminded me of a story that had circulatedabout a production of The Fantasticks done atanother Catholic university. I tend to believe thatthis story is a joke and never really happened,but it was told to me as a true story. As the storygoes, a priest was watching a rehearsal of astudent production of The Fantasticks. Hebecame most upset when they got to "The Rape"song. The priest complained to the director thatsuch language was not acceptable for a churchuniversity. The director explained that the term155
