God only wanted Adam to eat of The Tree of Life, God’sHoly Spirit, without any Law.The Law had no legal requirement at the time from Adam to Moses,even if The Law was known. The definition of sin had todo with an offense rather than the breaking of a Law. If no Law,there is no sin of The Law. It is still an offense to God as it injuresGod or His creation as well as mankind. That is why TheGreat Commandment is to LOVE God with all your heart, mindand body and to LOVE your neighbor as yourself.Ultimately, any offense or injury, physically, mentally or spiritually,causes God an injury. Any unrighteous act is missingGod’s mark. It is still a sin in God’s eyes without the transgressionof The Law.Christian SinWhat is a sin for Christians? Missing the mark or sinning for aChristian is a lot more demanding than I John 3:4 or the transgressionof The Law. Notice, Christ’s comment when He said Hedid not come to destroy The Law but to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17-18). In fact, Christ continued and said that not one jot or tittle ofThe Law would pass till all be fulfilled or completed. The Greekword for “fulfilled” is “teleroo,” which is “completion of everything.”When The Law states it is to be “fulfilled,” in the Greek,it does not mean “to do,” or “keep” but “to finish since it is full.”The Greek word “to do” or “to keep” is “poeio” not “pleroo.”Jesus made an astonishing statement in Matthew 5:20, “For Isay unto you, that except your [Christian] righteousness shallexceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall
