My dictionary tells me that"avantgarde” is originally a militaryexpression, which stands for the soldiersin a battle who fight in the veryfirst row and who are supposed to diefirst. Do you feel sometimes like a warriorof the first row and how do youdefine "avantgarde metal” for yourself?@noiZe: I simply don't want to define it.For the warrior in the first row the wholeterrain is undefined. We are not makingmusic to be industrial, avantgarde orwhatever metal. I hate bands who are hidingbehind a genre.
