6 Sep 05 The 403 rd WG Commander (Keesler AFB, MS) directed that two C-130J<br />

aircraft were <strong>to</strong> be sealed and ready for 22 AF tasking. The 53 rd Weather<br />

Reconnaissance Squadron (WRS) at Dobbins ARB, GA, received<br />

information from the National Hurricane Center and relayed it <strong>to</strong> the 403 rd<br />

WG and 22AF/CAT. The C-130H model aircraft were still at their<br />

evacuation locations. 90<br />

6 Sep 05 One aeromedical evacuation sortie resulted in the movement of one<br />

6 Sep 05 The 908 th AW (Maxwell AFB, AL) had one crew at Kelly AFB, TX, for<br />

hurricane relief missions. During the preceding 24 hours, one crew had<br />

flown <strong>to</strong> New Orleans, LA, on a hurricane relief mission. 94<br />

6 Sep 05 The 934 th AW (Minneapolis-St Paul, MN) initially sent 5 aeromedical<br />

evacuation crews (each compromised of 2 flight nurses and 3 aeromedical<br />

evacuation technicians) responding with a Bravo alert capability within 24<br />

hours of notification, as of 31 Aug 05. Three crews flew out commercially<br />

on the evening of 1 Sep with the remaining 2 crews leaving via C-130H on<br />

2 Sep. Three crews returned <strong>to</strong> home station late evening, 5 Sep, with 2<br />
