ARW (Selfridge ANGB, MI); and, (13) security policemen from the 445 th<br />

AW (Wright-Patterson AFB, OH) <strong>to</strong> Lackland AFB, TX for Hurricane<br />

21 Sep 05 The 910 th AW (Youngs<strong>to</strong>wn MAP, OH) completed two spray missions. 174<br />

Major Cathy Miller, co-pilot and aircraft commander for an aerial spray flight over Louisiana, goes<br />

through her preflight checklist shortly before takeoff from Duke Field, FL. <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> Reserve<br />

Command crews unanimously agreed that the Gulf Coast missions were their most difficult aerial<br />

21 Sep 05 The 403 rd WG (Keesler AFB, MS) completed one mission and had two<br />

ongoing against Hurricane Rita. 176<br />

22 Sep 05 Hurricane Rita was a Category 5 hurricane with winds pushing <strong>to</strong> a<br />

maximum intensity of 175 miles per hour. Its central pressure was<br />

measured at 897 mb, the third lowest registered in the Atlantic basin. 177<br />
