Visitors tothe Feywild’s flower-speckled meadows or grovesof ancient trees can’t travel far without drawing theattention of a flock of faerie dragons, which accompanythem with singing and amazing aerial displays.If danger threatens, the flock disperses in a twinkling.But faerie dragons are mischievous and curious, andthey can’t stay away long when something interestingis going on.A faerie dragon is about the size of a dog, farsmaller than any true dragon, but its form is clearlydraconic. Its iridescent scales reflect all the colors ofthe rainbow, and its butterfly wings flutter so rapidlyin flight that they become a shimmer of multicoloredlight.
