Measuring Success in Maths is a
series of photocopiable maths
tests that can be used regularly
throughout the school year.
Informed by past national test
questions, it offers a flexible mix
of both Mental and Written tests
that can be used across Key
Stages 1 and 2.
Initial tests for pupils in Year 1 are
task based. As pupils progress
through the year, Mental and
Written tests are introduced that
reflect their increasing capability
and these continue into Year 2. For Years 3 to 6 there are three Mental
and Written tests for each block of the Framework. This comprehensive
approach enables teachers to monitor progress at different points in the
school year and at the end of Key Stages 1 and 2.
