Measuring Success in Science is a series of photocopiable science
tests that can be used regularly throughout the school year. The test
topics are thematic and designed to measure a pupil’s understanding
and ability across the subject of science.
Each test includes questions aimed at the experimental and
investigative work in Scientific Enquiry, and all questions vary in style
and increase in difficulty across each test. Designed for use at the end
of units of work, Measuring Success in Science enables teachers and
private tutors to monitor progress at the end of Key Stages 1 and 2.
Free end-of-year tests are also included as part of Measuring Success
in Science. These comprise paper tests for Years 1 and 2, and digital
tests for Years 3 to 6 (with two tests for each year, at different levels).
The easy to administer digital tests offer instant scoring, data analysis
and reporting. The reports produced profile both pupil and group
performance.
