Leading professional programs
Our internationally accredited Bachelor of
Engineering (BE) program offers one of the
largest ranges of engineering disciplines
in Australia — several of which are unique
to Queensland, such as Mining, Materials,
Chemical, and Metallurgical Engineering.
Our Information and Communications
Technology programs offer a
comprehensive range of studies in
hardware, software and multimedia
design, and reflect the diverse and

And UQ Architecture is recognised
internationally as a premier school of
architectural design. Staff and students

refurbished studios and laboratories.

World-class facilities
World-class research facilities in engineering
and information technology enable you to

of innovators. The faculty is undertaking an
unprecedented building and refurbishment
program which has seen upgrades to much of
UQ’s engineering precinct and architecture and
information technology spaces. Construction
work has begun on the $130 million Advanced
Engineering Building and is due to be
completed in 2012.
