Determinata a farsi un nome in un mondo, quello
dell’automobilismo, dominato dal genere maschile,
il quale per di più gli ha portato via il talentuoso
padre in un incidente, una pilota di automobilismo
donna con l’amore per la velocità ha un solo desiderio:
schiacciare il gas e guardare in avanti. Alex
è testarda e vuol dimostrare di essere in grado
di competere coi piloti maschi. Un giorno trovò
l’amore con un pilota professionista, conosciuto
nell’ambiente per essere il migliore della sua categoria.
Tale rapporto cambierà le sue convinzioni,
non limitandosi al bianco e nero delle cose.
Determined to make a name for herself in the male
dominated sport that recently claimed the life of
her talented father, a female race car driver with a
lead foot and love for speed punches the gas and
never looks back. Alex is equally resolute in proving
that she has what it takes to keep pace with the
best male drivers around. Later, as Alex becomes
involved with a professional racecar driver who has
a reputation for always crossing the checkered flag
first, the young girl’s conflict proves much more
complex than simple black and white.

In questo film viene raccontata la storia di un atleta
il quale, nonostante non sia sopportato da un fisico
adatto allo sport della lotta, in quanto incapace
di raggiungere qualsiasi standard di peso richiesto
per l’iscrizione alle categorie ufficiali, si impegnerà
al massimo per poter superare tale ostacolo e
combattere poi nella lotta ad altissimi livelli.
Here is told the story of an athlete who hasn’t a
body good enough to practise wrestling. In fact his
body doesn’t coincide with any of the official weight
categories of wrestling. He decided to face this
problem, and so he will use all the force he has
in his mind to exceed this problem and to begin
fighting in an upper-class level.

La giocatrice Han Mi-Sook, stella della pallamano,
lasciato lo sport, prese a lavorare come umile assistente
da supermercato. Quando venne chiesto alla
sua vecchia compagna di squadra Kim Hye-gyeong
di rientrare dal Giappone per creare una squadra che
partecipasse alle Olimpiadi del 2004 ad Atene, ella
persuase Han MI-Sook a rientrare nel giro. Tuttavia,
Hye-gyeong venne cacciata e sostituita con Ahn
Seung-pii. Inizialmente nervosa ed irritata, ingoiò il
suo orgoglio ed unì alla nazionale Mi-Sook.
Star handball player Han Mi-sook, retired from the
sport, she works as a lowly supermarket assistant
When former teammate Kim Hye-gyeong is asked
to return from a coaching job in Japan to put together
a national team for the 2004 Athens Olympics,
she persuader Mi-sook to return to the sport.
However, Hye-gyeong is scion ousted as the coach
in favour of Ahn Seung-pii. Initially angry and resentful,
she swallows her pride and joins Mi-sook
as just another player.
