CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• Signed by the Colts to a reserve/future contract on January 20, 2012.
• Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers on July 26, 2011, but was released prior to the start of the
regular season.
2013 (COLTS):
• In the regular season opener against Oakland (9/8), registered one tackle and two stops on special teams.
• Participated at linebacker and on special teams during the team’s Week 2 loss against Miami (9/15) and notched one tackle.
• Competed at both linebacker and on special teams during the team’s Week 3 victory at San Francisco (9/22). Notched two stops on
special teams.
• In the team’s Week 4 victory at Jacksonville (9/29), saw action at linebacker and on special teams, but did not record a tackle.
• In a Week 5 win against Seattle (10/6), saw action at both linebacker and on special teams, but did not record a tackle.
2012 (COLTS):
• Compted in 13 contests and registered seven special teams tackles and four tackles on defense. Also served as a short-yardage
blocking fullback.
• Participated on special teams against Green Bay (10/7) in a Week 5 meeting and posted two tackles.
• Saw action at the New York Jets (10/14) and finished with one tackle and one special teams stop.
• Tallied two tackles at linebacker in a Colts victory against Cleveland (10/21) in Week 7.
• Competed on special teams at Houston (12/16) and added two special teams tackles.
• Played on special teams in his first career playoff game and totaled one special teams stop at Baltimore (1/6).
2011:
• Signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent, but was released prior to the start of the regular season.
COLLEGE:
• Played in 46 games (40 starts) at Marshall University and finished his collegiate career with 421 tackles, 21.0 sacks and one
interception.
• Earned First Team All-Conference USA honors in 2009 and 2010.
• As a senior, started all 12 contests and finished the season with 144 tackles, 8.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
• During his junior season, was a candidate for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and the Lombardi Award, leading the team with 117 tackles,
8.5 tackles for loss and 7.0 sacks.
• Was a preseason All-Conference USA selection and All-America candidate during his junior season.
PERSONAL:
• Attended Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Ga.
• Rated as a top-30 prep player by Rivals.com in 2005.
• Visited 900 students at Weaver Middle School in his hometown to share words
of encouragement.
