2007 (LIONS):
• Started all 16 games with the Lions and totaled a career-high 78 tackles (47 solo), 1.0 sack, one pass defensed and two fumble
recoveries.
• Established a career-high with 10 stops (eight solo) against Minnesota (9/16).
• Tied a career-high with 10 tackles (eight solo) vs. the New York Giants (11/18).
• Tallied seven tackles (five solo) and 1.0 sack against Kansas City (12/23).
2006 (LIONS):
• Started all 16 games with Detroit and recorded 70 tackles, a career-high 8.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one
pass defensed.
• Finished with five tackles and 1.0 sack against Buffalo (10/15).
• Posted five tackles (three solo), a career-high 2.0 sacks and one forced fumble against San Francisco (11/12).
• Netted six tackles, 1.0 sack and one forced fumble in the season finale at Dallas (12/31).
2005 (LIONS):
• Started all 16 games and totaled 42 tackles (29 solo), 1.0 sack, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
• Collected four tackles (three solo) at Tampa Bay (10/2).
• Registered five solo stops and 1.0 sack against Chicago (10/30).
• Finished with four tackles (three solo) against Atlanta (11/24).
2004 (LIONS):
• Started all 16 games and collared 41 tackles (37 solo), 3.0 sacks and two fumble recoveries.
• Recorded one tackle and 1.0 sack at the New York Giants (10/24).
• Compiled five tackles (four solo) at Jacksonville (11/14).
• Posted two solo tackles and 1.0 sack against Minnesota (12/19).
2003 (LIONS):
• Competed in nine games during his rookie season and finished the year with nine tackles (eight solo) and one pass defensed.
• Participated in his first career NFL game, posting one solo tackle against Minnesota (9/21).
• Netted two tackles at Seattle (11/16).
• Recorded a season-high four tackles (three solo) and his first career pass defensed at Kansas City (12/14).
COLLEGE:
• A two-time First Team All-Big 12 Conference selection as a junior and senior (2001-02) at Texas.
• Competed in every game, including a string of 35 consecutive starts and finished his collegiate career with 201 tackles (123 solo),
21.0 sacks, 53 tackles for loss, one interception, six passes defensed, six forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
• Was one-of-four finalists for the Lombardi Award and inaugural Hendricks Award. Was on the Nagurski Award watch list as a senior.
• Named an Honorable Mention All-Big 12 selection as a sophomore.
PERSONAL:
• Attended North Shore High School in Galena Park, Texas and was named USA Today’s National Defensive Player of the Year and
consensus All-America as a senior.
• In his final prep season, recorded 215 tackles (103 solo), 15.0 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries
and four interceptions.
• Was named the nation’s top linebacker by Parade and earned First Team Associated Press All-State and Texas Sports Writers
Association honors.
• Named the Texas Class 5A Defensive Player of the Year.
• Won the state Class 5A title in discus as a junior and senior.
