INDIANAPOLIS COLTS WEEKLY PRESS RELEASE

• Notched his only fumble recovery of the season against St. Louis (10/12).
• Put up a season-high eight tackles (five solo) against Dallas (11/16).
• Recorded his first career regular season interception at Seattle (11/23). Also added four solo tackles in the game.
• Intercepted a Joe Flacco pass at Baltimore (12/7) and forced a Willis McGahee fumble that was recovered by teammate DeAngelo
Hall.
2007 (REDSKINS):
• Started all 16 games, becoming the first Washington rookie since Rod Gardner in 2001 to start every game as a rookie.
• Named to the NFL All-Rookie Defensive Team.
• Finished third on the team, but first among defensive backs, with 97 tackles. Posted a career-best 1.5 sacks and had seven passes
defensed and two fumble recoveries.
• Registered 11 special teams tackles.
• Made his NFL debut against Miami (9/9), posting four tackles (two solo).
• Tallied six tackles (four solo), one pass defensed and half of a sack at Philadelphia (9/17).
• Posted his second-highest tackle total of the season when he made 11 stops (six solo) against the New York Giants (9/23).

COLLEGE:
• As a senior at LSU, started all 13 games earning All-America first-team honors by The Associated Press and the American Football
Coaches Association.
• Was a First Team All-SEC pick and a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award.
• Led the team with 74 tackles, one forced fumble, three interceptions and 1.0 sack.
• As a junior, started and played in 13 games at free safety earning All-SEC first-team honors by the league’s coaches.
• Finished fourth on the Tigers with 69 tackles, three interceptions and 1.0 sack.
PERSONAL:
• As a senior at Hahnville (La.) High School, earned First Team 5A All-State honors.
• As a quarterback, threw for 1,639 yards and 16 touchdowns and rushed for 693 yards and 12 scores while also intercepting eight
passes on defense.
• Has a white-faced capuchin monkey, named Gucci.
• Brother, Dawan, was initially a fifth-round draft pick of Baltimore, and played the first five years of his career with the Ravens (2006-
2010). Played the last two years with Jacksonville (2011-12).
