PRO CAREER:<br />

• Set a then-career-high with 13 tackles (nine solo) in the season opener against Houston (9/11) and added one fumble recovery.<br />

• Established a career-high with 20 tackles (11 solo) against Pittsburgh (9/25) and helped limit the Steelers to 67 rushing yards on 28<br />

carries.<br />

• Logged 15 tackles (four solo) against Kansas City (10/9).<br />

• Recorded his first sack of the season in a Week 12 contest against Carolina (11/27) and contributed with seven tackles (three solo).<br />

• Tied for the team lead with 11 tackles in his starting debut at Washington (10/17) and added 1.0 sack and two passes defensed.<br />

• Totaled four tackles and his first career forced fumble against Houston (11/1).<br />

• Posted a team-leading 12 tackles at New England (11/21).<br />

• Contributed with a team-leading 11 stops against San Diego (11/28).<br />

• A two-year starter at Iowa who started 24-of-43 career games. Finished his collegiate career with 258 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss,<br />

• Started 13 games at middle linebacker as a senior and totaled 145 tackles, five tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, one interception, two forced<br />

fumbles and five passes defensed.<br />

• Was a first-team All-America choice by Football Writers Association of America and Football News. Earned second-team honors from<br />

The Associated Press and Walter Camp Football Foundation. Was a consensus first-team All-Big Ten choice and one-of-five finalists<br />

for the Bronko Nagurski Award.<br />

• Averaged 11.2 tackles per game, which ranked second in the Big Ten and<br />

fourth in the NCAA.<br />
