CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• Selected by the Colts in the second-round (63rd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.
PRO CAREER:
• Led the Colts and ranked fourth in the NFL in tackles with 146 in 2011.
• Posted a career-high 20 tackles against Pittsburgh (9/25/11).
• Named to the 2011 USA Today All-Joe Team.
• Selected to the 2010 PFW/PFWA and Sporting News NFL All-Rookie Teams.
2013 (COLTS):
• Listed as inactive for the regular season opener against Oakland (9/8).
• Made his first start of the season at MIKE linebacker against Miami (9/15) and tied for the team lead with 11 tackles (nine solo). Also
posted half of a sack, which was his first quarterback takedown since November 27, 2011.
• Listed as inactive for the team’s Week 3 contest at San Francisco (9/22).
• Started at MIKE linebacker at Jacksonville (9/29) and finished with eight tackles (three solo). Was part of a defense that held the
Jaguars to three points while allowing only 205 net yards in a 37-3 win.

2012 (COLTS):
• Played in the final 11 games of the season, including three starts. Finished the year with 57 tackles (29 solo), one forced fumble and

• Saw action at linebacker at New England (11/18) and finished with six tackles (two solo).

2011 (COLTS):
• Started all 16 games and moved to middle linebacker in Week 2 against Cleveland (9/18) following an injury to starter Gary Brackett.
• Ranked first on the team and fourth in the NFL with 146 tackles (76 solo) while contributing with 1.0 sack, his first career interception,
two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three passes defensed. Added two special teams tackles.
• Set a then-career-high with 13 tackles (nine solo) in the season opener against Houston (9/11) and added one fumble recovery.
• Established a career-high with 20 tackles (11 solo) against Pittsburgh (9/25) and helped limit the Steelers to 67 rushing yards on 28
carries.
• Logged 15 tackles (four solo) against Kansas City (10/9).
• Recorded his first sack of the season in a Week 12 contest against Carolina (11/27) and contributed with seven tackles (three solo).
• Amassed 12 tackles (seven solo), his first career interception, two passes defensed and a forced fumble in the team’s first win of the
season against Tennessee (12/18). The interception came in the Titans end zone to end a potential scoring drive with 7:19 remaining
in the fourth quarter.

2010 (COLTS):
• Appeared in 16 games (11 starts) and ranked second on the team with 75 tackles (50 solo). Also added 1.0 sack, one forced fumble
and two passes defensed.
• Led the team with 16 special teams stops.
• Tied for the team lead with 11 tackles in his starting debut at Washington (10/17) and added 1.0 sack and two passes defensed.
• Totaled four tackles and his first career forced fumble against Houston (11/1).
• Posted a team-leading 12 tackles at New England (11/21).
• Contributed with a team-leading 11 stops against San Diego (11/28).
• Started at strongside linebacker in the Colts playoff appearance against the New York Jets (1/8) and finished with five tackles.
COLLEGE:
• A two-year starter at Iowa who started 24-of-43 career games. Finished his collegiate career with 258 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss,
2.0 sacks, six interceptions, two forced fumbles and eight passes defensed.
• Started 13 games at middle linebacker as a senior and totaled 145 tackles, five tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, one interception, two forced
fumbles and five passes defensed.
• Was a first-team All-America choice by Football Writers Association of America and Football News. Earned second-team honors from
The Associated Press and Walter Camp Football Foundation. Was a consensus first-team All-Big Ten choice and one-of-five finalists
for the Bronko Nagurski Award.
• Averaged 11.2 tackles per game, which ranked second in the Big Ten and
fourth in the NCAA.
PERSONAL:
• Attended Bettendorf (Iowa) High School and earned all-state and all-conference
honors in his final two seasons.
• Was a team captain who set school records for tackles in a game (25), season
