second-team honors by The Associated Press. Became the school’s first first-team All-America selection since the program was elevated<br />

to the Football Bowl Subdivision.<br />

• Was named Big East Conference Player of the Year and Eastern College Athletic Conference Player of the Year.<br />

• His 2,083 rushing yards as a junior led the nation and set school and conference season records. His total carries ranked second in<br />

Big East history. Also led the Big East and ranked sixth in the NCAA with 2,208 all-purpose yards.<br />

• Set a conference season record with 11 100-plus-yard games, which included three 200-plus-yard games.<br />

• Totaled 43 carries for 205 yards and two touchdowns to set the school’s single-game rushing mark by a freshman.<br />

• Holds a degree in exercise science.<br />

• Attended Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic High School where he was a team captain and rushed for 2,032 yards and 27 touchdowns as a<br />

senior.<br />

• Was named a first-team all-division, all-county and All-Jersey Shore selection.<br />

• Was a second-team all-state choice.<br />

• Was the recipient of the All-America Scholar Award.<br />

• Lettered six times on the school’s track team.<br />

• Participated in the Colts Books for Youth program to provide backpacks filled with books to foster youth.<br />

• Lends help to several community organizations including Second Helpings, the Humane Society and Riley Hospital for Children.<br />

• Born in Atlantic Highlands, N.J.<br />
