• Acquired by the Colts in a trade with the Cleveland Browns in exchange for the Colts first-round selection in the 2014 NFL Draft on<br />

September 18, 2013.<br />

• Selected by the Browns in the first round (third overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.<br />

PRO CAREER:<br />

• As a rookie in 2012, started all 15 games he played in and led the team with 950 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns on 267 carries.<br />

Also caught 51 passes for 367 yards and a touchdown.<br />

• Set Browns rookie records in rushing yards (950), rushing touchdowns (11), scrimmage yards (1,317) and total touchdowns (12).<br />

• Named to USA Today’s All-Joe Team in 2012.<br />

2013 (BROWNS/<strong>COLTS</strong>):<br />

• In the regular season opener against Miami (9/8), rushed for 47 yards on 13 carries and caught two passes for 30 yards.<br />

• Rushed for 58 yards on 18 carries and caught five passes for 21 yards at Baltimore (9/15).<br />

• In a Week 3 victory at San Francisco (9/22), logged 13 carries for 35 yards and one touchdown in his debut with the Colts. His first<br />

carry was a one-yard touchdown in the first quarter, which made him the first Colt player to score a touchdown on his first rushing attempt<br />

with the Colts since Gordon Brown on October 4, 1987.<br />

• Made his first career start as a member of the Colts and scored his second touchdown in as many games on a one-yard carry in the<br />

second quarter at Jacksonville (9/29). The score gave Indianapolis a 17-3 advantage. Finished the game with 20 carries for 60 yards<br />

and one score while adding one reception for six yards.<br />

• Led the Colts in rushing with 18 carries for 56 yards in the team’s Week 5 victory against Seattle (10/6). Contributed with a long carry<br />

of 16 yards and tallied 20 yards on the team’s second to last offensive possession to run the clock in the fourth quarter.<br />

2012 (BROWNS):<br />

• Started all 15 games he played in and led the team with 950 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns on 267 carries. Also caught 51 passes<br />

for 367 yards and a touchdown.<br />

• The rushing total ranked 10th in the AFC, topped all AFC rookies and was third among NFL rookies.<br />

• The rushing total set a Browns rookie record, surpassing the previous record of 942 yards by Jim Brown (1957).<br />

• The reception total was second on the team, third among AFC running backs and seventh among NFL running backs.<br />

• The reception total was third among NFL rookies, trailing only Kendall Wright (64) and Justin Blackmon (64).<br />

• His 12 total scores were the most by a Browns rookie, eclipsing the previous record of 10 set by both Jim Brown and Eric Metcalf<br />

(1989).<br />

• His 72 points were the most-ever by a Browns rookie, surpassing the previous mark of 66 by kicker Jerry Kauric (1990).<br />

• Had three 100-yard rushing games, which tied for the most by a Browns rookie, along with William Green (2002).<br />

• Named to USA Today’s All-Joe Team.<br />

• Registered his first career 100-yard rushing performance and first career touchdowns at Cincinnati (9/16) after rushing for 109 yards<br />

and a touchdown and catching four passes for 36 yards and a score. It marked the first time a Browns rookie rushed for 100 yards<br />

since Lee Suggs ran for 186 yards against Cincinnati on December 28, 2003. Was voted the Pepsi MAX Rookie of the Week for his<br />

performance.<br />

• Over the course of Weeks 2-5, became the first Brown to have a rushing touchdown in four straight games since Peyton Hillis in 2010<br />

and was the first Browns rookie ever to do it.<br />

• Rushed for a career-high 122 yards with a 26-yard touchdown against San Diego (10/28). The rushing total marked the most by a<br />

Browns rookie since Lee Suggs ran for 186 yards at Cincinnati on December 28, 2003<br />

• Rushed for 105 yards on 25 attempts and caught a team-high six passes totaling 31 yards against Baltimore (11/4). Joined Jacksonville’s<br />

Fred Taylor (128 on 9/20/98) as the only rookies to rush for 100 yards against the Ravens.<br />

• Joined Earnest Byner (1984) and Bobby Mitchell (1958) as the only Browns rookies to register consecutive 100-yard rushing games.<br />

• Totaled two rushing touchdowns against Kansas City (12/9) and against Washington (12/16).<br />

• Started 15-of-38 career games at the University of Alabama (2009-2011).<br />

• Totaled 3,130 career rushing yards on 540 attempts (5.8 avg.) with 35 rushing touchdowns.<br />
