CAREER TRANSACTIONS:<br />

• Signed by the Colts to a reserve/future contract on January 19, 2012.<br />

• Signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League in 2009.<br />

• Released by the Tennessee Titans prior to the start of the 2008 regular season.<br />

• Originally signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2008.<br />

PRO CAREER:<br />

• Set a franchise record and ranked fifth in the NFL for tackles in a season with 203. Became only the second Colts defender in<br />

franchise history to top 200 tackles in a season in 2012.<br />

• Became the first undrafted NFL player to return an interception for a touchdown in his NFL debut since 1987. Was also the first Colts<br />

undrafted player to accomplish the feat in his NFL debut.<br />

2013 (<strong>COLTS</strong>):<br />

• Started at WILL linebacker in the regular season opener against Oakland (9/8) and ranked second on the team with 13 tackles (10<br />

solo).<br />

• Against the Dolphins in Week 2 (9/15) posted the first multiple-sack game of his career while forcing a fumble on his first takedown in<br />

the third quarter. The turnover led to a Colts 38-yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri. Freeman added his second sack of the game in the<br />

third quarter, which led to a Dolphins punt. Also contributed with seven tackles (six solo).<br />

• Led the Colts with nine tackles (seven solo) in the team’s Week 3 victory at San Francisco (9/22), starting at WILL linebacker. Notched<br />

a sack and forced fumble in the fourth quarter. The sack was his third of the season and the fifth of his career. The forced fumble was<br />

his second of the year and third of his career.<br />

• In a Week 4 victory at Jacksonville (9/29), started at WILL linebacker and led the team with 10 tackles (five solo) and was part of a<br />

defense that limited the Jaguars to three points and 205 net yards.<br />

• Led the team with 14 tackles (11 solo) and added one tackle for loss in the team’s Week 5 victory against Seattle (10/6). Made a<br />

crucial tackle when he stopped Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson on a third down rush in the fourth quarter, which led to a punt.<br />

2012 (<strong>COLTS</strong>):<br />

• Started at inside linebacker in all 16 games. Led the team with 203 tackles (116 solo), 2.0 sacks, one interception, three passes<br />

defensed and one forced fumble.<br />

• In his first career NFL start at Chicago (9/9), led the team with 13 tackles (six solo), one pass defensed and one interception, which he<br />

returned four yards for a touchdown.<br />

• Led the team in tackles (18) while contributing with his first career sack and forced fumble against Minnesota (9/16).<br />

• Led the team in tackles for the fifth consecutive week with 19 (eight solo) against the New York Jets (10/14).<br />

• Led the team in tackles for the ninth occasion of the season against Buffalo (11/25) with 18 (13 solo), which tied his second-highest<br />

single-game total. Added his second sack of the year when he brought down Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick in the first quarter.<br />

• Recorded 15 stops (10 solo) in the team’s playoff-clinching victory at Kansas City (12/23).<br />

• Led the team in tackles (11) for the 13th game starting at WILL linebacker against Houston (12/30). With 11 tackles, he became the<br />

second Colts defender to top 200 tackles in a season and set a new franchise record while ranking fifth in the NFL for tackles in a<br />

season with 203, topping Jeff Herrod’s mark of 200 in 1994.<br />

• Started at WILL linebacker in his first career playoff game and contributed with six tackles (two solo) at Baltimore (1/6/13).<br />

CFL CAREER:<br />

• In three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL (2009-2011), totaled 144 tackles, 13.0 sacks, three interceptions,<br />

four fumble recoveries and one touchdown.<br />

• Was a three-time CFL Defensive Player of the Week and 2011 CFL All-Star.<br />

• Participated in two CFL Grey Cup games with the Roughriders.<br />

COLLEGE:<br />

• Finished his career at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (2004-07) as the school’s all-time leader in tackles and became the first<br />

Cru player to go over 300 career tackles.<br />

• Named D3football.com Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.<br />

• Was a three-time First Team All-American Southwest Conference selection.<br />

• Finished his senior season with 112 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, seven passes defensed and one<br />

blocked punt that he returned for a touchdown.<br />

PERSONAL:<br />

• Attended University High School in Waco, Texas where he grew up.<br />

• Participated in numerous Play 60 activities and events.<br />

• Volunteered at the Indianapolis Humane Society.<br />

• Served meals to homeless men at Wheeler Mission as part of teammate Antoine Bethea’s Safe Coverage Foundation visit.<br />
