GARDA assembly
When the relief does not allow to
reach a field, there is another solution:
the spreading gun. This system
is commonly used in steep regions
and is based on the GARDA pumping
unit.
Installing the GARDA system means
combining a vacuum pump and a
centrifugal pump. The vacuum pump
is used to fill the tank, but also to
spread slurry in a traditional way.
The centrifugal pump makes slurry
flow towards the spreading gun with
a pressure that can almost reach 6
bars. In option, the position of the
spreading gun can be adjusted vertically
by a hydraulic cylinder. This
centrifugal pump is also the reason
why the spreaders fitted with a
GARDA system are largely used for
irrigation works.
Traditional spreading
The main advantage of the GARDA system is
to keep the rear scatterer (combined system).

Gun spreading
The gun is used to spread slurry on hillsides
by making it flow over hedges (from the road).
Suction and spreading

The GARDA spreader can serve as stationary
pumping installation (slurry transfer)

to mix slurry in closed circuit, which turns out
to be very useful in case of quite thick slurry:
this process naturally takes place by setting
slurry in motion.
