SIMPLE CUT chopper
The SIMPLE CUT chopper is based on the patented technique
of the Scalper © macerators. Indeed, any foreign body in the slurry
is chopped by 2 self-sharpening circular blades turning against a
contra-rotating blade fitted with conical openings.
In this way, slurry is homogeneously distributed in the rear spreading
tool while making sure that the possible foreign bodies do
not prevent the macerator from working properly. The stones
and other foreign bodies are collected in a trap that is easy to
reach and has to be emptied regularly. This operation is made
easier by a quick opening system.
The X-Trem vehicles have a vertical chopper while the Cobra,
Quadra and Euroliner have a chopper in horizontal position.

The ‘‘Turbo’’ effect makes it possible to pump higher capacities, faster and without overloading the pump.
Thanks to the turbo-filler, it is possible to better fill the slurry spreaders fitted with a vacuum pump and
to shorten the filling time.
The slurry is not only sucked by the vacuum pump, it is also ‘‘pushed’’ in the tank. The density of the
sucked up slurry is higher. Indeed, it is possible to pump with a lower vacuum level thanks to the turbine.
As a result, the slurry will expand to a lesser extent - natural property of slurry - and create less foam.
The sucked up volume will consequently be closer to the volume at rest.
As the pump must create a lower depression, a higher flow may be created to fill the tank (significantly
shorter filling time).
