Upper filling
The gravity filling system is the one to allow the highest flows
while the smallest pump can be used, as the pump only acts as
a compressor during the spreading phase.
The upper hydraulic trap (watertight - 500 x 600 mm) offers a
very large opening, thereby making it easier to set the pumping
arm in the correct position. It is hermetically closed by rubber
rollers pressing the trap.
It is best suited to the gravity filling system, as it has a limited
height and no bottleneck while the air is not prevented from
flowing out.
As a result, the funnel will be ideally replaced by a hydraulic
trap when the capacity of the filling pump is high. Indeed, a
high flow tends to block the funnel quite quickly. Besides, if all
necessary measures are taken, the opening of the trap offers a
better aeration than manholes and other doors.
The inside and outside access ladders are included
in the equipment associated to the trap.
Just like the trap, the funnel allows to fill the tank
completely and quickly. But the funnel is higher
than the trap. A 8’’ valve makes it possible to
avoid forming a bottleneck between the funnel
and the tank (standard with the funnel). For a
