Régate entre Puerto de Bueco et Montevideo.
Le Yacht Club Uruguayo, Autorité Déléguée
au Rating IRC dans notre pays, a édité un total
de 55 Certificats IRC parmi lesquels quelques
certificats test. Cette année encore, la régate la
plus importante était la South Atlantic Rolex Cup
organisée au mois de janvier à Punta del Este.
28 bateaux y ont participé dans la Classe IRC.
Plusieurs autres clubs organisent des régates
en IRC et font la promotion de la Jauge IRC en
Uruguay : Le Yacht Club de Punta del Este, le
Yacht Club Paysandu et le Club Yachting y Pesca
de Colonia. En février prochain, un Championnat
International aura lieu à Montevideo, au Yacht
Club Uruguayo. Nous attendons près de 25
bateaux venant d’Argentine, du Brésil et
d’Uruguay.

The Yacht Club Uruguayo which is the IRC
Rule Authority for our country edited a total
of 55 certificates including tests. This year
again the most important regatta was the
South Atlantic Rolex Cup, held in January in
Punta del Este. 28 boats joined in the IRC
class of the race. Various other clubs organize
IRC Regattas in Uruguay and promote IRC
activities: The Yacht Club Punta del Este, Yacht
Club Paysandu and Club Yachting y Pesca
de Colonia. Next February an international
Championship will be held in Montevideo, in
our Yacht Club Uruguayo. Now we are waiting
for nearly 25 boats to enter the race, coming
from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.

Chine du sud
L’architecture navale et l’industrie nautique se
développent en Chine et avec eux, la «culture
bleue» avance à grands pas. Les propriétaires
sont de plus en plus nombreux à vouloir participer
à des courses plus professionnelles et de plus
grande envergure. L’IRC est donc le bon choix.
La China Cup International Regatta est la plus
grande course internationale organisée en Chine.
Nous devons cet événement à l’Administration
des Sports Nautiques, au Centre Général
d’Administration du Sport de Chine, au Centre
de la Culture, du Sport et du Tourisme de la ville
de Shenzen. La société “Shenzhen Across Four
Oceans Sailing Event Management Co Ltd” gère
la globalité de l’organisation.
Depuis sa première édition en 2007, la China Cup
a lieu chaque année au mois d’octobre dans la
Baie de Daya à Shenzen. Inscrite au calendrier
officiel de l’ISAF, elle a été spécialement choisie
pour promouvoir la voile en Chine, faciliter et
populariser son accès et renforcer les échanges
entre la communauté chinoise des gens de mer
et le circuit international de la voile.
Du 28 au 31 octobre, la cinquième China Cup a
rassemblé plus de 80 bateaux venus d’une trentaine
de régions et de pays. Des équipes telles
que la «Yachtfinders Global», la «China Team»,
la «Team Twotrue Vicsail», ou la «Team San Francisco»
se sont affrontées pour l’honneur pendant
4 jours et 7 courses. Le Comité d’Organisation a
créé une Classe Fareast 26 dans laquelle plus de
dix bateaux ont disputé une régate passionnante.
Nous sommes convaincus que la China Cup incite
les régatiers chinois à mieux connaître et à se familiariser
avec la Jauge IRC.
En plus de la compétition, la China Cup propose un
large éventail d’activités culturelles et accueille le
Forum Asiatique du Développement de la Culture
Nautique, des joutes nautiques ou un tournoi de
golf, invitant tout un chacun à s’imprégner de la
culture chinoise moderne ou traditionnelle. Ces
manifestations donnent encore plus de couleurs
à la China Cup, popularisent la voile et créent
une synergie pour le développement des sports
nautiques et de leur industrie en Chine.

With the development of Chinese yacht design
and manufactures, “blue” culture has made a
great achievement in China. More and more
yacht owners want to race in bigger and more
professional regattas. So IRC rating system is the
best choice.
China Cup International Regatta is the largest
international keel-boats sailing event held in
China. The event is organized by Water Sports
Administration Center of General Administration
of Sports of China and Shenzhen Municipal
Administration of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It
is managed by Shenzhen Across Four Oceans
Sailing Event Management CO.LTD.
China Cup International Regatta is held annually
in October in the waters of Daya Bay, Shenzhen,
since its inauguration in 2007. The regatta is
officially listed on the Racing Calendar of ISAF.
China Cup International Regatta has been
committed to promoting sailing in China, making
the sport more accessible to ordinary people,
as well as strengthening the communication
between Chinese sailing community and the
international sailing circuit.
From the 28th to the 31st October 2011, the fifth
China Cup International Regatta attracted over 80
boats from nearly 30 countries and regions. Top
teams like Yachtfinders Global, China Team, Team
Twotrue Vicsail, Team San Francisco, and many
more entered the 4 days and 7 races regatta,
competing each other for the honor of China Cup.
The Organizing Committee of 2011 China Cup set
a Fareast 26 IRC Division. More that ten Fareast
26 participated to a very exiting regatta. We
strongly believe that The China Cup is one of the
reasons why the Chinese sailors begin to know
and to be familiar with IRC.
China Cup is not simply sailing. A wide range
of cultural activities also take place during
the regatta, including the Asia Sailing Culture
Development Forum, Knighting Rituals and the
Celebrity Invitation Golf Tournament, feasting
all participants on both traditional and modern
Chinese Culture. These associated events make
the regatta more colorful, at the same time it
introduces sailing to more people, producing
stronger driving forces for the development of
sailing sport and yachting industry in China.
