Man of Rochdale 2016
With a heavy heart the team at Springhill Hospice waved goodbye to the 2014-
2015 Man of Rochdale, Harry Bell. What an amazing man and worthy holder
of the title. Harry came along to Men of Rochdale annual luncheon at Rochdale
Town Hall last November and graciously handed over the reins and responsibility
of Rochdale Man of the Year 2015-2016 to Celebrity Chief Andrew Nutter, a
great fundraiser for local causes and a fantastic ambassador for Rochdale.
Santa Dash or Dawdle 10th Birthday Celebrations
Springhill Hospice ended 2015 seeing red – a sea of Father Christmas red that
is! Hollingworth Lake was awash with a record number of Hospice supporters
donning a red and white suit at the annual Santa Dash or Dawdle. This year
616 Santa’s registered for the event’s 10th Birthday celebratory saunter or sprint
around Hollingworth Lake – watch out for an update later in the year on the
Father Christmas fun fundraising total. In the meantime…. Santa Dash or
Dawdle 2016 Sunday 11th December – save the date or miss out on the fabulous
family festive fun.
Springhill Spring Fair – Sunday 13th March 10 am til 3pm
Springhill Hospice kick off their 2016 Fundraising calendar with their now
legendary Spring Fair. Sunday 13th March will see over 40 stalls, both inside the Hospice and in the beautiful grounds,
providing everything from gifts and treats, crafts and cards, clothes and jewellery to home bake, snacks and refreshments
of all varieties. A great day out, full of Easter Treats and of course, a chance to see our wonderful Springy the Frog!
New Season, New You - Springhill Hospice presents Lucy Cobb’s Spring Collection
14th April 2016 – 7pm Springhill Hospice
Come and join in the fashion fun at Springhill Hospice. Thursday 14th April will see the fashions of Lucy Cobb Boutique,
light up our Day Hospice and all in aid of Springhill. Lucy Cobb who are renowned for affordable, quality and on-trend
fashion, will be revisiting the Hospice for what is bound to be another successful fashion show.
Bag yourself a ticket so you can bag a beautiful fashion bargain or two, all in the knowledge that you'll also be raising

Help us Celebrate 10 Year of Family, Fun, Fitness and Fundraising on our annual
Hospice to Hospice Walk
Mascots Springy Frog and Hope the Bear (Dr Kershaw’s) will be helping 300+
walkers of all ages, from each Hospice, enjoy a day of family, fun, fitness,
fundraising and friendship. Springhill’s walkers will put their best fundraising
foot forward when they set off from Springhill Hospice on Broad Lane. Halfway
through the 7.25 mile or 14,500 step circular route, they’ll stop off for a cuppa
at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice in Oldham before setting off for Broad Lane again. Last year this event raised nearly £12,000
for the Hospice, a fantastic amount of money. Join in this year to help celebrate the event’s 10th Birthday and raise
money for your community
£7 per person entry fee including a special limited edition 10th Birthday medal. Walk starts from Springhill Hospice at
