The Nolan Hue Foundation
is an organization that
aims to create opportunities
for people, particularly
youths, to develop skills,
which will empower them to
achieve their full professional
potential. Through career opportunities,
networking and
development programs, Nolan
Hue intends to ultimately
raise the standard of discourse
and thinking about what it
means to be a professional in
Editor’s Note
changes have already been implemented.
Caribbean Times believes that
it is only fair we keep you our
clients abreast of important
developments and contact information.
There are specific
departments and teams now allocated
to ensuring that when
you advertise with, or buy, Caribbean
Times it is exactly the
most informative, reliable, and
enriching experience available.
To this end we ask you
Caribbean and by extent, the
World. Previously, we hosted
two Young Professional
Networking Events. From
the success, the Foundation
was able to give educational
scholarships to two individuals
attending the Antigua State
College.
In keeping with our mission
and vision, we have
embarked upon hosting the
first Nolan Hue Youth Empowerment
Retreat (nhY-
ER) themed, “The Future is
Now”. YER is a three-day
retreat where 40 young adults
between the ages of 18-25
will stay at a local resort for
free and receive a world-class
experience in Professional
Development.
This three (3) day retreat
is an accelerated transformational
learning experience that
supports and cultivates the development
of future leaders in
transition, and aims to inspire
Internationally renowned
artist Dina de Brozzi, owner
of The Workshop Studio Art
Gallery in Falmouth Harbour,
presents Lady Sandra
Williams with “Mango Angels”,
an 8”x10” original oil
painting on canvas which
is now available online for
auction.
The funds raised will go
towards assisting some of
the charitable causes under
The Halo Foundation.
and challenge all attendees to
be civically minded leaders in
their communities. The retreat
further helps to cultivate the
attendee’s critical leadership
skill and increase their knowledge
of Caribbean history
while providing them with
life lessons.
Moreover, the retreat will
demonstrate the importance
of male and female success in
the classroom, the work environment,
the community and
the world. Through dynamic
speakers, attendees will feel
inspired to achieve their goals
and empowered to write their
own narrative of success.
The retreat will host numerous
breakout sessions
geared towards educating and
developing future leaders.
These sessions represent the
perfect opportunity for attendees
to immerse themselves in
evolving conversations, and
are designed to achieve national
recognition to support
the gathering of the nation’s
young people.
Through this weekend-long
engagement, participants
will gain a sense of empowerment
and form healthy
connections, which are reflected
in the reduction of
high-risk behaviors through
positive youth activities. In
addition to the social benefits
of these behavioral changes,
the community gains through
the energy, ideas and values
that youth bring to the workforce,
organizations, activities,
and relationships.
nhYER’s opening ceremony
will take the form of
a cocktail networking event
and at the end, the delegates
will attend the closing Corporate
Gala where they will
be nationally recognized as
a ‘Nolan Hue Certified Professionals’
and as NHYER
Alumni.
