Ian Andrew Daniel, aka
St. Johns Magistrate’s Court
before Chief Magistrate
denied bail.
They were remanded to
prison awaiting committal
arrested and jointly charged
by the police late Wednesday
and the magistrate has no
jurisdiction to grant bail on
Corey Mills
Murder accused remanded
Shane Buckley
these matters.
Daher was shot and killed
at his fast food restaurant, located
on Old Parham Road,
late last Saturday night. However,
within 24 to 48 hours
of the shooting, all three men
were captured and taken into
custody by the police, following
an intelligence led,
high-profile “Sting Operation”.
Both Buckley and
Daniel are well-known to the
police for committing similar
robbery offences.
Meanwhile, the general
public, particularly the media
came in for high praise from
the Police Administration.
The police expressed gratitude
to the public for their
overwhelming support; including
the level of patience
and understanding shown towards
them, during the execution
of their duties.
However, the police continue
to urge the owners and
operators of businesses in
Antigua and Barbuda to be
extremely cautious when conducting
business, especially
during late hours.
