This board is my favourite board for medium
to bigger waves and sideshore conditions.
I’m using 5.6 which is the smallest.
This board is really stable. When you are
in bigger waves and you need a board that
you can trust all the time, then this board is
your weapon of choice
It really cuts all small choppy waves that occurs
when it’s windy, and the turns are easy.
This board made me smile after a hard time
finding a board that can be controlled strapless
and strapped, in big waves.
If you are a taller girl you can go for 5.7 but
I prefer 5.6
strapped-in riding, but you can of course
also go strapless. Barracuda is a really fast
board that keeps up the speed. If you want
to go full power and ride fast, this is the
board for you.
When you’re riding waves you want a good
board. It’s a toy but it’s important that it fits

Some final advices
Fins
Choose your fins wisely when you’re putting
your gear together. A fin can make a big difference
for the board and it’s wise to swop
fins in different conditions.
Bigger and stiffer fins helps the board getting
more stable, just like you want it in bigger
waves. But remember that the turn also
will be tougher because you have to push
harder to let the fin loose the grip a bit.
In smaller waves I use smaller and more
flexible fins to make the board turn faster.
