Days in the sand
before the marathon of events,
travels, and commitments that
where coming up in the following
months. Although the forecast
did not guarantee continuous
days of waves we decided that
the wind would be enough for
some strapless freestyle sessions
to fill our stay. So two
days before the swell arrived we
decided it would be worth making
the trip and started getting
ready to leave.
Matchu got in touch with Sean
Guy, a longtime friend, who offered
to be our guide for the
days we would spend there. I do
not know if the two were aware
of the importance of the moment,
but for me these two guys together
had a historic symbolism.
