Noodle Pie<br />

FILLING<br />

150 g dry vermicelli<br />

(soup pasta)<br />

500 g curd cheese<br />

100 g sugar<br />

1 cup sour cream<br />

15 g butter<br />

6 eggs, separated<br />

1 lemon zest<br />

2 tsp vanilla extract<br />

20 g raisins<br />

DOUGH<br />

1 Package of strudel pastry (Phyllo<br />

pastry)<br />

4 tbsp butter, melted<br />

makes 18, takes 60 minutes<br />

Put the vermicelli in boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.<br />

Make a tasty cottage cheese pancake filling (curd cheese, sour<br />

cream, egg yolk, sugar, butter, egg whites beaten, vanilla extract,<br />

raisins, and lemon zest).<br />

Place a layer of the strudel pastry in a buttered baking pan. Then<br />

spread butter over strudel, spread thin layer of cottage cheese<br />

filling over top, cover with a layer of vermicelli, then strudel<br />

pastry again, butter, filling, vermicelli, strudel pastry, repeat this<br />

order three times in all.<br />

Brush the top strudel pastry layer with egg yolk and bake until<br />

nice and golden brown at the top, cut and serve hot.<br />
