Heraeus, the technology group headquartered
in Hanau, Germany, is a leading international
family-owned company formed in 1851.
Combining material expertise with technological
know-how our ideas are focused on themes
such as the environment, energy, health,
mobility and industrial applications. Our
portfolio ranges from components to coordinated
material systems.
Many customers of Heraeus are situated in
South East Asia. That is why Singapore is
a main hub for Heraeus. In 2015, Heraeus
Singapore celebrates its 30 th anniversary and
employs approximately 600 people. At our five
sites on-site, Heraeus develops and manufactures
market-leading products for a variety of
industries, but in particular for the electronics,
semi conductor, medical technology and solar
industries. These include among other things
assembly materials, silver-based metallization
pastes for the photovoltaics industry, sputtering
targets, medical components and bonding
wires for the customer electronics market.
Per year, 20 Million people get a breath of
fresh air in Terminal 1 of the Changi Airport in
Singapore, where UV specialty light sources
from Heraeus are being used for overall air pollution
control.
Miniaturized neuromodulation components are
used in brain pacemakers.
Metallization paste for Photovoltaic modules.
