Custom Valentino Rossi
Cars Up For Grabs
The merchandising game is strong with Italian racing
superstar Valentino Rossi, and I don’t think the collection is
missing something. Oh wait... branded cars. But now you
can have such a thing if you live in Europe as the first custom
models are rolling in.
To achieve this, Rossi has continued his
partnership with Ford and their newest
creation can be seen in the shape of
the VR46 Ford Transit and the VR46
Ford Ranger, both coming with custom
bodywork, racing oriented interior and the
well-known “46” logo.
The Transit Tourneo will be limited to just
460 units available throughout Europe
and the UK. The van will feature an allblack
theme, big multispoke rims, VR46
inscriptions, and stitchings on the seats
along with a new steering wheel and
leather upholstery.
Mechanically, the super-van comes with a
modified suspension as well as a sportier
exhaust. The rims I was talking about are
provided by OZ, and they seem to fit the
whole setup pretty good.
Moving on to the Ford Ranger, the custom
pickup truck will be available in the same
460 limited units number scattered
throughout dealers in Europe and the UK.
It’s interior follows the same leather and
stitching recipe while the exterior gets a
matte black them along with the “46” logos
and beefy off-road rims. However, it does
come with more eye-candy than the van.
Look closely and you’ll spot it has more
aggressive bumpers, a bash plate up front,
flared wheel arches with huge mud guards
and even a LED light rack on the roof.
The suspension looks to be modded
too with the Ranger
here sitting higher
than a standard
one. Moreover, the
extended wheel
arches notify that the
front and rear track
have been widened to
provide more stability
in off-road situations.
There is no price
information at the
moment, but we
expect them to go on
sale for at least sixty
grand more over the
stock versions.
