Master the pedagogy of distance learning and develop<br />

sought-after management skills by pursuing a master’s<br />

degree in distance education and e-learning with a specialization<br />

in distance education teaching and training.<br />

In the distance education teaching and training specialization,<br />

you’ll develop expert knowledge in instructional design and<br />

administration principles to lead online learning institutions,<br />

departments, and programs. You’ll gain experience in the latest<br />

modalities of online learning and strengthen your management<br />

skills to improve the quality of instruction and learning technology<br />

in any distance education environment.<br />

Your Coursework<br />

Your courses in the distance education teaching and training<br />

specialization will prepare you to manage the specific teachingrelated<br />

aspects of modern distance education both in the traditional<br />

teaching setting and the corporate training sector. While<br />

the specialization focuses on teaching and training, you’ll also<br />

learn about technology topics such as instructional design and<br />

management topics including intellectual property, accreditation,<br />

and quality assurance.<br />
