The dazzle protection filter in the 3M<br />
Speedglas 100V has a variable dark shade<br />
level between 8 – 12 and light shade level<br />
of 3. The filter in the Speedglas 100V is<br />
equipped with variably configurable dark<br />
shade level from 8-12; the light shade level<br />
is also 3.<br />
Additionally, the Speedglas 100V offers three<br />
sensitivity levels for optimal adjustment to<br />
various <strong>welding</strong> conditions:<br />
Suitable for most arc <strong>welding</strong> methods,<br />
including electric manual, MIG/MIG and high<br />
amperage TIG <strong>welding</strong>.<br />
I.e., perfect for electrode <strong>welding</strong> and MIG/<br />
MAG <strong>welding</strong>; restrictions apply for TIG<br />
<strong>welding</strong> in the low amperage range,<br />
and for high-frequency inverters.<br />
Class 1 if other welders are working in<br />
the immediate vicinity,<br />
Class 2 the standard setting for most<br />
typical <strong>welding</strong> procedures, and<br />
Class 3 for low-amperage <strong>welding</strong>, TIG<br />
<strong>welding</strong> or <strong>welding</strong> with a high-frequency<br />
inverter.<br />
Protection class 3 can be set for, e.g., grinding.<br />
Enhanced impact-protection as per European<br />
standard <strong>EN</strong> 175 B.<br />
Transition time light/dark 0.1 ms.<br />
With a new delay function for<br />
individual adjustment of the dark<br />
to light transition delay.<br />
