The much hyped fashion show<br />
is finally over. The American<br />
lingerie brand Victoria’s secret is<br />
famous for showcasing its latest<br />
collections annually in an<br />
extravagant fashion show every<br />
year. The highly anticipated show<br />
finally unfolded on November 30 th<br />
at the Grand Palais in Paris, which<br />
was a first time ever that Victoria’s<br />
secret Angels walked the runway in<br />
the fashion capital. The venue<br />
covered in Pink Carpet and pink<br />
lights with glittering signage was<br />
transformed into everything VS.<br />
The show that lasted for 45<br />
minutes featured 5 themes-<br />
Mountain Romance, Dark Angel,<br />
The Road Ahead, Secret Angel and<br />
Bright Night Angel along with their<br />
Pink collection themed Pink<br />
Nation. The models walked the<br />
show in skimpy lingerie, trussed up<br />
in feathers, hundreds of thousands<br />
of Swarovski crystals and sequins<br />
paired with towering thigh-high<br />
boots and stilettos by the footwear<br />
designer Brian Atwoods. Mountain<br />
Romance featured Floral motifs<br />
and had a very Indi-pop/ boho vibe<br />
to the collection. Model Lily<br />
Donaldson walked in an outfit set<br />
with 2500 stones on it. The much<br />
talked about Fantasy Bra worth $3<br />
million was worn by Jasmine<br />
Tookes. The extravagant Bra,<br />
designed by jewelry designer Eddie<br />
Borgo, and handcrafted with jewels<br />
by AWMouzannar took 700 hours<br />
to complete. Encrusted with 9000<br />
precious gemstones and 27000<br />
Swarovski crystals set in 450 karats<br />
of 18K gold, the piece of lingerie<br />
lived up to its reputation of being<br />
decadent and extravagant.<br />
The show was made even more<br />
exciting by the powerful<br />
performances by Lady Gaga, Bruno<br />
Mars and The Weeknd. The models<br />
shook their feathers and total of 43<br />
pairs of wings – Victoria’s Secret’s<br />
signature prop for the cameras.<br />
