Malaysia Airports’ outstanding success in quality management<br />
was rewarded for the second time when it bagged the<br />
European Society of Quality Research (ESQR) Quality Choice<br />
Prize 2016 on December 12 in Berlin.<br />
EQSR CEO Dr A. Arista presented the Quality Choice Prize<br />
2016 to Malaysia Airports Corporate Quality Management<br />
Senior Manager, Shariffah Monaliza Syed Lope Ariffin in a<br />
Gala Dinner Award ceremony held at Grand Hyatt Berlin,<br />
Germany, which was also attended by quality management<br />
experts from all over the world.<br />
Malaysia Airports Managing Director, Datuk Badlisham<br />
Ghazali said, "To receive international recognition on<br />
quality management system is an acknowledgement of<br />
our relentless effort and continuous initiatives to improve<br />
our businesses, especially in providing the best possible<br />
services to our customers.<br />
"It is also a result of all stakeholders putting forth their best<br />
effort in a spirit of continuous improvement. While this is<br />
an achievement to be proud of, we take it as a challenge as<br />
well to push further towards quality management excellence<br />
at all our airports."<br />
The annual recognition programme by ESQR recognises and<br />
highlights outstanding business results, best practices, quality<br />
awareness and achievements by companies in regional and<br />
global markets.<br />
Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, ESQR handles strategic<br />
questions in quality management as well as promotes Quality<br />
Culture and continuous improvement in quality through<br />
their annual conventions, which serves as a global forum to<br />
perfect quality management techniques.<br />
