Chopsticks
Silver, wood or plastic. It doesn't matter. As
long as they're shiny and ready to be used to pick
up some steamed ginger fish or toss some 'yee
sang'. But, do you know how to use them? First,
place the first chopstick so that thicker part rests
at the base of your thumb and the thinner part
rests on the lower side of your middle fingertip.
Then, bring your thumb forward so that the stick
will be firmly trapped in place. At least two or
three inches of chopstick of the thinner end
should extend beyond your fingertip. Next,
position the other chopstick so that it is
held against the side of your index
finger and by the end of your thumb.
Check whether the ends of the
chopsticks are even. If not,
then tap the thinner parts
on the plate to make
them even.

lanterns or make your own
simply by following steps you
can watch on YouTube or read
on Pinterest. The lanterns are
also perfect substitutes for
regular lights or lamps around
the house for an Oriental
touch.
ACCESSORIES
It could range from red dangling earrings to little
rooster keychains or red rings and necklaces,
depending on what you fancy. It is believed that
the colour red, a symbolic colour of happiness
and good luck, is meant to bring good fortune
to those who wore items in the colour or
have kept it within their surroundings.
