adding on to some history at Patio Beach
Emerald Place Townhomes in Delray Beach
living just a little bit better. They will now
have a second story with master suite and
bath on the second floor and kitchen, great
room and bath on the first floor. The condos
will be 800-square-feet to 1200-squarefeet
and give the condo owners a much
larger playing field.
The Stuart & Shelby footprint continues
to evolve In Lake Worth as well. Currently
they are building Davis Landings West in
partnership with the Community Land
Trust of Palm Beach County. This ambitious
project consists of site development and
construction of 16 single family homes and
eight townhomes. The project will be completed
in August of 2017.
They may be spreading their expertise
around the county, but rest assured Chuck
has his eye on every project. “During our
growth we always maintain a laser focus on
customer service. The care we provide during
the construction process is unparalleled
and our relationship with customers is incredibly
important to us. Our motto is: ‘Built
with Integrity and Pride.’ And we strive to
stay true to this mantra.’”
Stuart & Shelby have projects from Hallandale
Beach to West Palm Beach. They recently
finished an 8,350-square-foot home
in Lake Ida for a private client. “The home
was designed to meet the needs and desires
of the client and everyone was happy.” They
are currently building an 8,600-square-foot
custom home in Bocaire Country Club with
completion expected June 2017.
In the past few years Stuart & Shelby has
built six custom spec homes in the Lake Ida
neighborhood in Delray Beach. Their clients
are very appreciative of their expert craftsmanship.
“This letter is to thank you and your
staff for making our first experience in the
home construction process as exciting and
painless as possible. Your professionalism
and strong commitment to customer service
was seen at our initial meeting, through the
entire build and well after we took occupancy
of the house. We especially appreciated
your personal involvement, availability and
attention you offered us. I recommend Stuart
& Shelby to anyone looking to build a house,”
said Jon and Yarah Ortlieb.
There’s another aspect to Stuart & Shelby
that is part and parcel of their corporate
culture - Giving Back. Chuck and his team
are always stepping up to help non-profits
and community programs and events. Currently
Chuck is Chairman of the Board of
the Arts Garage and a founder of Impact
100 Men Palm Beach County.
Impact 100 was originally started by a
group of women who donate money that goes
to local charities. Because of their success,
and its glorious ramifications in the community,
Chuck got the idea to emulate this concept
for men. “Impact 100 Men Palm Beach
County is the first of its kind in the country. I
believe in giving back to the community that
has given so much to me and my family. I am
also a member of the Delray Beach Initiative,
which is a group of local business men and
women who host events each year to raise
money for local nonprofits.”
There are a host of other sponsorships
that Stuart & Shelby is involved with. There’s
the Stuart and Shelby Theatre at the Arts
Garage and sponsorships that support various
nonprofits including: Old School Square,
Pine Grove Elementary, The Delray Beach
Education Foundation, Achievement Centers
for Children & Families, Miracle League
of Palm Beach, Delray Beach Sister Cities,
Greater Delray Chamber of Commerce fund
raisers, Delray Citizens for Delray Police “In
addition to the projects and sponsorships
we always find time to support the community.
Stuart & Shelby is currently volunteering
time to help the kids in the Atlantic High
School Eagles Nest Construction program
build their third home in Delray Beach. They
recently coordinated and contributed all
cost associated with the moving the YA Title
Statue from the old Atlantic High School to
the new one. It gives me great pleasure to
work with these amazing students.”
Chuck was also the Business Person of the
Year for 2010-2011 and Business of the Year
2013 – 2014 and won the Ken Ellingsworth
Community Service Award four times.
We applaud Stuart & Shelby for their commitment
to the community and to their clients.
