of St Vincent’s Catholic Church<br />
and School, you’ll know you’re across the<br />
street from us” is how shop owner Jen Davis<br />
helps customers find her store. Second<br />
Time Around Consignment is celebrating<br />
its new location just North of downtown<br />
at 801 George Bush Blvd. New neighbors<br />
include such Delray stalwarts as Nancy Regan’s<br />
Bella Reina Spa and Marianne’s Gourmet<br />
Deli. With gleaming hardwood floors,<br />
expert lighting and high ceilings, this new<br />
store has a Spring-like, garden feel, calming<br />
atmosphere and welcoming staff. It’s eye<br />
candy for the designer handbag enthusiast.<br />
It’s become a must-see destination for shoppers<br />
searching for one of a kind designer<br />
item such as Chanel, LV, Pucci and Prada<br />
at great prices. They also carry fun, everyday<br />
designers including Lilly, J McLaughlin,<br />
Melly M and Chico’s. Originally behind The<br />
Green Owl on <strong>Atlantic</strong> <strong>Ave</strong>, her shop has<br />
been an upscale ladies consignment boutique<br />
for nearly thirty seven years. It was<br />
there that Jen first partnered with landlord<br />
Dr. Bob George of Abeleina Properties.<br />
“I’ve had some mentors and coaches during<br />
these formative years” Jen recalls, “but none<br />
of them were kinder or more supportive<br />
than Dr. George.”<br />

A Bit of History<br />
The shop was founded by Jen’s longtime<br />
friend Ellie Lowry. When she retired, Jen<br />
took the reins and expanded the shop beyond<br />
its downtown roots. Jen joined the<br />
ranks of other downtown business women<br />
including Laura Simon, Executive Director<br />
From Chico’s-Chanel<br />
at Delray Beach DDA and Jestena Boughton,<br />
owner of Colony Hotel. Bankers, realtors and<br />
other professional women now find affordable<br />
high end fashions at incredible prices in<br />
the shop. They often stop off at Marianne’s<br />
Gourmet Deli, or The French Bakery for a<br />
light snack on their shopping excursions.
